About Green Kid Crafts
In 2010, Penny Bauder, an environmental scientist and mother, started the award-winning business Green Kid Crafts in San Diego. They encourage creativity and taking care of the environment. They offer eco-friendly monthly subscription boxes with fun STEAM Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math projects for kids ages 2 to 10 and up. They want to get kids interested in science and the natural world so that they can become the next generation of environmental leaders. Products Each monthly Discovery Box comes with four to six kits and a twelve-page magazine to help kids learn by doing. The company is a member of 1% for the Planet, uses eco-friendly materials, and has a carbon neutral certification. To get kids interested, the company gives thousands of customers across the country monthly or gift memberships.
