A Tale of Two Tomboys, launched in 2013 and founded by Fran Dunaway and Naomi Gonzalez, recognised a gap in the market for people like them. They questioned themselves, “How hard can it be to make good underwear?” And by that, they meant underwear that anybody could feel comfortable in, inclusive of all sizes and gender expressions. They aimed to design products that serve a wide range of body shapes and gender expression, expanding beyond conventional gendered apparel. Over 10 years ago, TomboyX started working on better underwear options for people who were failed by the status quo. They’re constantly working to bring new colour and style options based on customer feedback. They got to where they are today with the help and support of their community.
